I am a solo, one-man-show, grassroots journalist;


I am a lover of fashion, and addicted to style;


I am going to conquer everything – writing, photography, design, PR, building a business, opening a boutique, & dressing celebrities;


I am dedicated to giving a voice to people who deserve it, hidden gems, unique talents, boutiques off the beaten path;


I am a relentless worker, barely sleep to jump start my goals;


I do not believe in paths, just suggestions, the journey is yours and yours alone;


I love food that is bad for you, primarily because I’m allergic to everything else;


I am a great friend, an average friend, and a bad friend all in one – at least I own up to it;


I love to a fault, and sometimes people don’t get it;


I am honest, I write the truth and cover only what I believe in;

I am me, unique, although I may blend in at times – it’s a big world.

I love many things about fashion. I love the ownership and individuality of fashion; where you can mold your ideas into a unique style, add in some personality, and you are now one of a kind like a fingerprint. I love discovery, from shopping in boutiques to reading some of the fashion’s liveliest bloggers writing about their insights and finds. I love writing about what I like, expressing myself with my wardrobe and my pen. I love it all, and I want to learn it all.

Early in your career, it makes sense that you can’t do EVERYTHING. Later in your career, you set the bar and achieve beyond your dreams. In between the now and then, if I can’t do it, I’ll write about it. Ever day is a new outfit, a new idea, a new discovery…and I want to share that with whoever is willing to read.

Being passionate about something is special. Finding others that are passionate is a blessing. This blog is a tool. I will use it for the following:

  • Leverage my writing abilities to share passion, my fashion/style knowledge, and display my work as a portfolio if you will.
  • Talk about clothing, designers, ideas and the like, that I believe in and want to spread the word about.
  • Give free publicity and a platform to young and up-and-coming fashion talent (designers, bloggers, stylists, anybody that is doing their thing with the potential to be a star).
  • Showcase my talent to give people confidence in me and my business – Tucked LLC.
  • Expose myself to job opportunities that I would have never expected.

Above is my full disclosure. No gimmicks, no dishonesty,…perhaps I am the true story of “How to Make it in NY.” A young man who left a career in finance to follow his heart. Against the odds of being over- and under- qualified, no real network, and no real direction…I guess you will be following my path to DOING IT ALL & FASHION AT ALL COSTS.
