Tucked for LL Bean Signature | Men’s Fashion
I won’t venture to guess how many menswear brands there are, especially given the rise to significance that men’s fashion has experienced this past year. I’m not the typical Americana, heritage-hungry blogger, nor is it my standard style. I’m all over the place, but I do appreciate a good story, quality clothes, and a brand with some history. L.L. Bean is a pillar; it isn’t a fly-by-night fashion house trying to make it’s name in the social media madness of the new journalistic world order. It is a clothing maker with a propensity towards style, and an even greater passion for a democratic and functional design in its garments. They are already doing a great job adapting to the cool factor of menswear, but I decided to give L.L. Bean my own touch, because well…every brand needs some look book style diversity.
Arrowsic Parka w/ Stripe
I teamed up with L.L. Bean to pull some items from their L.L. Bean Signature collection that really grabbed my attention. With these projects, I always try to pull clothes I love, clothes I don’t understand, and clothes that seem mainstream and give them a new look. It’s all about the challenge for me, and reaching a new demographic for a brand. For me, I haven’t had tons of experience with the L.L. Bean product; always thought it was clothing better served for the adults (like fatherly adults). But boy was I wrong. With Signature, L.L. Bean has injected some smart and fresh designs into the game. You know what….enough talking…check out the photos coming after this article.
