Tucked x Atrium NYC F/W 2011 Lookbook | Men’s Fashion
It isn’t everyday you get the opportunity to use a store as your own personal wardrobe closet. Atrium gave me that chance, and so I made the best of it. My only regret, I couldn’t take any bags home after the shoot!
Shoots always present challenges, and one of my personal challenges is that I’m not perfectly sample size – although, I’m pretty close. Items that are tough for me to work with are pants. I’ve got that athletic build with a big butt and thick thighs although I’m pretty trim throughout…it just means denim doesn’t always fit off the shelf. Luckily, I got to work with one of my favorite denim brands, Naked & Famous. I love the denim choices and how they experiment with different fabric combinations.
Another challenge – shooting fall/winter looks in the grueling summer sun. Between wearing chunky Navajo printed wools, and running back and forth from location to dressing room…I probably sweat off a couple of pounds. Without sacrifice, there can be no fashion.
There were a lot of brands I want to give shout outs, but maybe another day. For now, if you want to buy any of the items below, I tried my best to link them appropriately. If you don’t see a link, you’ll have to trek to the Atrium store in NYC yourself. I styled these looks to reflect as closely with my own personal aesthetic, which was somewhat difficult, but whatever, it looks pretty good. Without further ado, here is what I came up with to illustrate fall/winter for Atrium.
