“Arm Party” with Christina Topacio of ProFresh Style | Street Style
I have the most random life ever. And by random I mean, chance and happenstance. I run into people like Simon Spurr and then don’t realize it’s even him. But I also meet people like myself who end up being so incredible and cool that I can resist the opportunity to get them on camera. I’m not even really sure of how I came to meet today’s subject but I do remember it had something to do with Instagram. I came across some of her photos and that led me to explore her blog, and next thing you know I sent a complimentary e-mail about her style posts. Again, randomness is me, but I “ain’t mad at it.”
Christina Topacio is the fashion and style blogger behind ProFresh Style. She’s a California girl displaced in New York looking to have NYC provide her the cues for her next steps as a career woman in the wonderful industry of fashion. I’m not here to write her autobiography, but I am here to show you why I admire her style. I think it is a free-spirited and easy like her personality. The harmony of personality and style expressionism is beauty.
On this sunny day in the New York streets, Christina opted for a relaxed silhouette. I’m really digging the pattern of the robe, as it only enhances the overall “eye-catchiness” of the look.
Those are some retro frames. It’s always interesting to see someone pull off a slightly awkward or dated frame shape. She’s just taking it back, and the frames are accentuated by the gold rope chains! Fresh Princess anyone?
The wedges are absolutely killer and I think tie back well with the pattern of the robe. The “arm party” made oh so popular by Man Repeller is in full effect, and done so extremely well. My overall read on the total package is retro tribal…but look I’m just a guy with a camera. Overwhelmingly, I’m just excited by the look so I had to share it with all of you.
So much more street style coming soon, so stay glued to the computer for the next couple of updates (if not all).
